Member Demographics
SCDM membership has grown at an average rate of 15 percent per year since 2003 and currently stands at more than 2,600 - the highest in SCDM history.
SCDM represents members in the United States, Canada and nearly 40 other countries. Membership is primarily located in North America (89 percent), but international membership rates are on the rise. Within the United States, the largest concentrations of members are located in California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
SCDM draws members from a variety of industries.
Members have identified SCDM publications Data Basics and Data Connections as the top benefits of membership. SCDM's Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) and discounts on conferences and educational programs were also highly ranked.
