Job Description:

i3 Statprobe focuses exclusively on providing the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with comprehensive, integrated data service solutions that include data capture, summary, analysis and reporting for clinical trials across all phases of research.

The Manager, Clinical Data Management oversees data management operations and is responsible for hiring, supervising and training data management personnel. This position must ensure that activities and processes performed are conducted according to i3 and sponsor requirements.

This position works closely with sponsors as well as the data management, biostatistics and clinical project teams. Expertise in time and resource management, customer service, communications skills, personnel and project management, implementation of new technologies, and data management processes is required.

Other responsibilities

• Manage all personnel matters, conduct performance evaluations, communicate expectations, hire department personnel, and ensure consistent practices within the department
• Direct database setup, data validation, database administration, database QC, and medical coding functions
• Manage projects and resources for successful execution, ensuring utilization targets are being met
• Assist in establishing and maintaining divisional policies and procedures
• Assist in the development of business development proposals as needed
• Remain informed of relevant industry developments in data management

Qualifications

• BS Degree and extensive experience leading data management activities for multiple and complex studies, including supervising work of multiple team members
• Previous management experience, including proven ability to effectively recruit and develop staff
• Proficient in the use of the clinical data management systems
• Thorough knowledge of applicable regulatory rules and guidelines
