Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Database Analyst (Job Number 17446).

The Database Analyst is responsible for serving as a technical resource for clinical practice and research within the department. The incumbent will participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of software applications and databases using various relational database, client/server, and object-oriented tools and programming languages. In addition to providing front line support for department hardware and software, the analyst will serve as an interface between the department and Information Technology Services to facilitate clinical trials by the development and utilization of research databases. The incumbent will also serve as the primary individual responsible for the integration of information from various disparate systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required; preferably in health sciences, computer science or a related field
• 2 years of experience in clinical trials and/or clinical database analysis involving experience with database and software validation, current querying tools and knowledge of relational database structures and methodologies is required
