SCDM membership is offered to individuals who work in the following:

Regulated health products industries - such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and diagnostic/imaging
Support and partner organizations - such as consulting, placement agencies, contract research organizations, site management organizations, hospital and academic research settings and hardware/software companies
Regulatory agencies - such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration

While most SCDM members live and work in North America, we have a growing international presence, with members in nearly 40 other countries. While developed to meet U.S. regulations, our key offerings, such as the CCDM® program and GCDMP, have been implemented globally.

Dues

Annual dues are $90, payable in U.S. dollars.

Students enrolled in CDM or clinical research courses working toward a certificate or degree at an accredited university may join at the student rate of $50. Students must provide a transcript or other document verifying enrollment in such a program, unless the student is associated with these approved universities or academic programs:

Educators interested in registering their entire class for membership should contact info@scdm.org for more information on group student memberships.

Membership runs on the calendar year, expiring December 31. Renewal notices are e-mailed to members each fall. Dues must be paid by January 1 to avoid a break in membership services.

Candidates accepted for membership on or after October 1 are granted membership for the full following year.

Membership dues will not be refunded or prorated.
