Volunteer Opportunities

Member Opportunities

Service on SCDM taskforces, committees and the Board of Trustees is limited to members only.

Committees and taskforces are arranged into interest areas and offer a venue for members to share their expertise. Volunteers contribute to development and implementation of SCDM programs, resources and initiatives, in accordance with the organizations strategic priorities. Taskforces and committees meet through regular conference calls and occasional face-to-face meetings.

Taskforces

SCDM taskforces work closely with staff to develop and implement organization programs and initiatives, inline with the Society's strategic goals.

Taskforce participation is open to members only. If you are interested in lending your expertise to a taskforce, please e-mail volunteers@scdm.org.

Leadership positions

Taskforce members appoint one participant to serve as leader. These terms last one year.

Committee chairs are appointed by the Board of Trustees. Board members may be elected or appointed. If you are interested in these opportunities, submit your information during our annual call for nominations each summer.
