Save the date: this 23-25 October, the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Conference will take place in Berlin.

Clinical Data Management is typically one of these areas where continuous change has become the new normal. The theme of the meeting will be ‘Evolving Clinical Data Management’, and many of the changes – present & future – are slated to be discussed.

As always, the SCDM Conference will be characterized by interaction: the emphasis will be on the exchange of ideas & discussion. The target audience will be the seasoned CDM professionals & leaders, from Pharma, Regulators, CROs & Academia.

Program & Speakers

SCDM EMEA Conference 2019 will have the honor and privilege to host various and prepared experts of the field, and among of them a representative from CluePoints.

Andy Lawton has extensive experience in computing, statistics, data management, RDC, system design, Quality Management, Risk Based Approach in both CSV and clinical trials.

He is currently consultant and director of Risk Based Approach Ltd. Previously, Andy held a variety of positions in the NHS and Pharmaceutical industry.  Andy was a Founding Committee Member of ACDM and TransCelerate RBM work stream.  Publications include the TransCelerate papers in the TIRS Journal, for which he won “best author of the year 2015 and 2016.

Bill Byrom has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 28 years.

Combining practical experience of roles within clinical development with a keen interest in leveraging technology, Bill is a key strategic thinker helping to shape the direction and application of eClinical solutions. Bill is a thought leader in patient-facing technologies including electronic patient-reported outcome solutions, the use of wearables and connected devices, and new novel technology-derived endpoints.

Richard Davies is an experienced Vice President

Solutions with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), IT Strategy, Professional Services, Data Warehousing, and Software Industry. Strong engineering professional with a Bachelor Of Science focused in Computer Science from De Montfort University.

Bruce Hellman CEO & Co-Founder at uMotif

Bruce co-founded uMotif in 2012, uMotif’s software platform tackles increasingly unaffordable health systems by engaging patients in self-management of their Long Term Conditions and post-operative recovery. Bruce is one of Computer Weekly’s UKtech50 Rising Stars 2013, won the Cisco BIG awards, and was nominated by Real Business magazine as one of the ’30 to watch in mobile’. The uMotif platform is clinically-proven and validated for clinical trials, having been deployed in 21 clinical conditions across the world, capturing 65 million data points from over 20,000 patients.
