SCDM’s  Single Day Event (Mumbai) Program

We are currently seeking the submission of Whitepapers. The closing date for the submission of abstracts is 13th November 2017.  The results from submitted abstracts will be announced on 16th November 2017. The subject matter of these whitepapers will consider the following topic :

Keynote Speaker : Jonathan Andrus

As Chief Operating Officer at Clinical Ink, Jonathan Andrus leads the organisation’s global data operations and quality & compliance teams to help drug sponsors better leverage eSource data. With 20+ years of experience, Mr. Andrus brings extensive expertise developing eClinical services that integrate data and technology to help life science companies optimize study execution.

Mr. Andrus joined Clinical Ink from BioClinica where he led the eClinical Solutions Group to develop their current service offerings, including data management, quality management, implementation services and IWRS. While at BioClinica, Mr. Andrus built relationships and forged strategic partnerships with sponsors, CROs, regulatory bodies, technology developers and clinical research professionals. Prior to BioClinica, Mr. Andrus worked in pharmaceutical consulting and with CROs focused on quality, data management and validation.

An active thought leader, blogger and presenter, Jonathan served as chair of the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) in 2008 and 2013 and currently serves as the society’s Treasurer.  He is also an active member of DIA and ASQ. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Temple University’s College of Liberal Arts and Graduate School of Pharmacy and is a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM®).

KEYNOTE SPEAKER : Hemant Rehani

Hemant Rehani is currently the Global Head of Life Sciences Digital Operations Delivery at Cognizant. He leads a global team of 4500+ Life Sciences practitioners based in 20 cities across the world He is responsible for delivering business value and digital transformation for global Life Sciences companies through effective use of people, process and digital technology.

Hemant comes with an experience of 25 years in Technology and Business Process Services across many industry verticals, having worked with LRN, Quintiles, IBM and many young companies in his career. He made a successful switch from a Technology career and has been in Life Sciences sector now for 6 years. His experience at Quintiles included heading the Clinical Development Services for India and South Asia, and setting up the Clinical Global Delivery Network. Prior to Cognizant, he was Managing Director India at LRN, a Culture Transformation organization with a mission to help people “Do the Right Things”.

Hemant has lived and worked in 10 different cities in US and India. Hemant has an interesting mix of career having played roles of a CTO, CIO, COO, MD and as an Angel Investor & Mentor for startups. He is an Electrical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.
